Guess what? Both my dad and second brother attended church this morning. FINALLY!! Really Praise the Lord for being so good to my family. After church this morning, I can sense that my second brother is totally ready for Jesus but my dad was still in the midst. I believe one fine day each one of my family members will enter Christian. So,yea. I love You so much Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit! However, from today onwards I will write about God's word on my blog. I awfully hope you guys out there will spend at least a couple of minutes to read it. I can assure you guys that you guys will learn something after reading it.
DAY 1 : It All Starts With God!!
It's not about you.
The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It's far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. Well, if you really wanna know why you were placed on this planet, you first must begin with God. You were actually born by his purpose and for his purpose.
The search for the purpose of life has puzzled people for thousands of years. That's because we typically begin at the wrong starting point ourselves. At times we ask self-centered questions like What do I actually want to be? or What should I do with my life? or What are my goals, my ambitions, my dreams for my future? But by focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life's purpose. According to Bible, "It's God who directs the lives of His creatures, everyone's life is in His power."
Contrary to what many popular books, movies, and even seminars tell you, you won't discover your life's meaning by just looking within yourself. You've probably tries that already. Just remember, you didn't create yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what you were created for!! Let's say I handed you an invention which you had never seen before, you wouldn't know its purpose, and the invention itself wouldn't know be able to tell you either. Hence, only the creator or the owner's manual could reveal its purpose.
Many people try to use God for their own self-actualization, but that is a reversal of nature and is doomed to failure. You were made for God, not vice versa, and your life is actually about letting God use His purpose, not you are using Him for your own purpose. The Bible says, " Obsession with self in these matters is a dead and attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life.
